Description
This special course is designed to turbo-charge the C.S. education of ambitious first and second-year Y.C. C.S. majors. Students learn aspects of either AI or Distributed Systems that they are otherwise only introduced to in their 3rd or 4th year of the major. Guided by accomplished industry mentors, students learn the prerequisite tools and systems, and then execute a large team-based C.S. project, building a real, working system, using professional-grade tools and methodologies. The course culminates with each team preparing a video demonstration and public repository of their project.
